Mrs. Marcella M. Worel, 88, formerly of 1028 N. 8th Street, Manitowoc, died
Sunday, June 9, 1991, at Pine Haven Christian Home, Sheboygan Fall, Wis.
Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. Rev. William Plank will officiate with burial of Mrs. Worel's
cremains in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born February 25, 1903, in Manitowoc, Wis., daughter of the late Nicholas
and Hattie Cherney Siebenborn. She married Chester G. Worel, who was an owner of
the Worel Hardware Company, on August 6, 1924, at Kellnersville, Wis. He preceded
her in death in 1948.
Survivors include three children, Donald C. (Carol) Worel of Madison, Dorothy
(Robert) Marsho of Kohler, Wis., Virginia (Donald) Gehr of East Troy, Wis.; four
sisters, Evelyn Siebenborn, Olive (Emil) Benishek, Ethel Bottoni, all of Manitowoc,
Louise Mittnacht of Chilton, Wis.; nine grandchildren, Catherine Puisto, Donald C.
Worel, Gail Worel, Julie Pesch, all of Madison, Robert J. Marsho of Stanford
University, Calif., James P. Marzo (sic) of San Francisco, Calif., Carol A.
Cavanaugh of Austin, Texas, Donald Gehr Jr. of Genesse Depot, Wis., Steven P. Gehr
of Olympia, Wash.; also five great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard F. Siebenborn, a sister, Sylvia
Siebenborn, and a grandson, Peter D. Gehr.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 4 p.m. on Tuesday until the
time of Memorial Service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to
the care givers of Pine Haven Christian Home, Sheboygan Falls.
