Mrs. Joseph (Carolyn) Wood, 92, of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, formerly
of 913 N. 8th St., died Thursday evening., December 28, 1989, at North Ridge
Care Center.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, January 2, 1990, at St.
James Episcopal Church. Rev. David Klutterman officiated and burial was in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood was born October 30, 1897, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Adolph
and Mary Naidl Malley. She attended Two Rivers Schools. She married Joseph E.
Wood, August 20, 1925, at Charles City, Iowa. Mrs. Wood was a member of St.
James Episcopal Church, St. Faiths Guild of the church, Altar Guild and a 50
year member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph, two daughters and a son-in-law, Eleanor
and Robert Deubler of Manitowoc, Mrs. Barbara Naidl of Baraboo, Wisconsin; 5
grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by a sister, 3 brothers, and a son-in-law, Chuck Naidl.
Memorials may be made to St. James Church. Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
