MILDRED E. "MILLIE" (GLOE) WERGIN

Mildred E. Wergin, age 90, a former resident of Village Green West, Two Rivers,
died Friday, June 17, 2005 at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Mildred was born in Two Rivers on March 7, 1915, daughter of the late Archie
and Elsie (Gauthier) Gloe Sr. On Nov. 8, 1933, she married Harry L. Wergin.
He preceded her in death in January 1982. Mildred was an employee of Aluminum
Specialty in Manitowoc for many years until 1969. She and her husband then
operated the Lakeview Tavern on Memorial Drive until they retired to their
cottage in Crivitz. Mildred returned to the Two Rivers area after the death
of her husband.

Mildred was preceded in death by one son: Jerome; four sisters: Ursula, Lorraine,
Harriet and Jeanne; and two brothers: Archie Jr. and Edgar.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 until 11 a.m. Friday, June 24,
2005 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24,
2005. Presiding at the service will be the Rev. William O’Brien, with burial of
the cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Millie was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting gifts
for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of bingo and card
playing. Millie will always be in our hearts.
