Mrs. Sylvester Wellner, 59, of 925 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Bethany Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Born Ione Boileau on Jan. 22, 1908, in Marinette, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Eines Boileau. She attended school in Marinette and graduated in 1926, coming to Manitowoc in 1927. She was married to Sylvester Wellner Aug. 26, 1933, in Manitowoc.
She was employed in the office of National Tinsel Manufacturing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1952.
Mrs. Wellner was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, held offices in the Manitowoc Garden Club and as past president of the Park Lawn Volunteers. She was also a member of the Germania Society.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Burg, of Oshkosh; four sisters, Mrs. Willard Rowe and Mrs. Rueben Dierecks, of Marinette, Mrs. Florence Collman, of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Ester Wheeler, of Appleton; and one granddaughter. One sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday and then at the church until time of services.
