OTTO F. WEISS

Mr. Otto Weiss, 71, of 1523 S. 14th t., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at
home of a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Weiss was born at Brillion Dec. 21, 1886, son of the late John and Henrietta
Weiss. He married Ida Haupt at Manitowoc Nov. 10, 1910. She died Jan. 17, 1946.
He married Ida Rieck at Manitowoc May 3, 1947. As a young man he came to Manitowoc,
starting work as a boilermaker at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. He retired six
years ago as a foreman.
Surviving are his wife; son, Carl of Milwaukee; stepson, Leroy Rieck of Green Bay,
two daughters, Mrs. Rueben Schwantz of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Peter Einderger
of Manitowoc; two step-daughters, Mrs. Elois Oszuzik and Mrs. Wilbert Danielski
of Green Bay; two brothers, John of Kimberly and Louis of Little Chute; 12 grand-
children and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Thursday until 10:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be removed to the church
where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
