Lenny Vogel, 57, of 1519 Jasmine Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, June 16,
1990, at Memorial Hospital, after an 8 month fight with cancer.
Funeral serrvices will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Pfeffer Funeral Home
and 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of
Christian Burial will be Rev. Donald Schneider and Rev. Charles Mocco with burial
to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born March 9, 1933, in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Louis
(Louie) and Marie Spetta Vogel. He married the former Bernadeanne Barbier on
May 15, 1954, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He attended St. Paul
Catholic Grade School of Manitowoc and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High
School Class of 1951. Mr. Vogel was the President of Vogel Heating and Air
Conditioning and a member of Northeastern Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishing
Association.
Survivors include his wife, Bernadeanne Vogel of Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-
in-law, Steve and Susie Vogel of Manitowoc, Jeff Vogel of Manitowoc; a daughter and
son-in-law, Dea' Marie and Dave Flemal of Manitowoc; a grandson (private); a sister
and brother-in-law, Laverne and Roger Nowakowski of Manitowoc; his mother-in-law,
Agnes Vander Bloemen; two nieces; other relatives and friends also survive. He was
preceded in death by his father-in-law, Marcellin Barbier Sr.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m this Monday, where a prayer
service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Rev. Donald Schneider.
