CHARLOTTE A. VALLESKEY

Charlotte A.Valleskey, age 80, of 909 Columbus St., Manitowoc, died Thursday,
Nov. 27, 2008, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Charlotte was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Harry and
Clara (Stelzer) Streich. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the
class of 1946. On May 1, 1954, she married Harold Valleskey in Hillsboro.
Charlotte was a bookkeeper for Streich Oil Company, which was owned by her father.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards and games, loved
the casinos, enjoyed traveling up north to the cottage, bass fishing at the lake,
knitting and crafts, and spending time with her family.

She was recently preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Jo Valleskey. She also
was preceded in death by an infant sister; seven brothers-in-law: Reuben Larson,
Jim Moldenhauer, Mason Ashford, Norman Vorpahl, William Habermann, Orvil Valleskey
and Milton Valleskey; and three sisters-in-law: Delores Vorpahl, Dorothy Habermann
and Olive Valleskey
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Pfeffer
Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will
be the Rev. Dr. James Klein. Cremation has occurred and the burial of the cremated
remains will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Pfeffer
Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Charlotte was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to her children,
especially her daughter Tammy Jo. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A special thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff in CCU at Holy Family Memorial
Medical Center.
