Mrs. Robert Uek, 92, of 1624 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wesley Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. D.T. Stannard will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.Mrs. Uek, nee Ella Schnorr, was born Sept. 26, 1877, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alois and Agnes Kodet Schnorr. She was married to Robert Uek Nov. 6, 1897, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1914. She was a member of Esther Circle of the Women's Society of Christian Service at Wesley Methodist Church.Survivors include two sons; Robert T. of West Yarmouth, Mass., and Alois W. of Forest Park, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. S.H. (Agnes) Guinter of Wheaton, Ill., Miss Edna Uek and Mrs. Chester (Anita) Anderson of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Palmquist of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. W.C. Dicke of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be removed to the church.Manitowoc Herald Times, Manitowoc, Wis.
