Ervin Tuma, 77, of 3315 County Trunk H., Cato, died Wednesday evening in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Schultz will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Tuma was born April 20, 1902, in Maribel, son of the late John and Mary Schuster Tuma. He attended schools in Maribel and graduated from the Manitowoc Business College in 1921. He farmed all of his life. Mr. Tuma was a former secretary and treasurer for Manitowoc County Fruit Growers Association and a former supervisor for many years for the fruit in the Manitowoc County Fair. He married Adeline Bull Oct. 8, 1924, in Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline; a son, Harold Meistner of Phenix, (sic) Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Meyer of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. George (Olive) Blesener of Fort Meyer, Fla., and Mrs. Otelia Tuma of Chicago, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the time of services. Memorials may be made to the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
