WILLIAM P. TREAT

WM. TREAT, ONE TIME RESIDENT THIS CITY, DEAD
A telegram to friends here brought news of the death at Los Angeles, Calif.,
of William Treat, brother of Charles Treat and former resident of this city.
The body is to be cremated and the ashes will be brought here for burial in
the family lot at Evergreen cemetery.
William Treat was a son of Attorney E. B. Treat, one of Manitowoc ’s pioneers
in the legal profession, who died here in 1880. Some time after his death the
family moved west to Los Angeles where both of the boys won success. Deceased
is survived by his widow and one brother, Charles. News of the death came as a
shock to friends here who were not aware of Mr. Treat’s illness.
