Mrs. Anna W. Thor, 95, of 1722 N. Rapids Rd., Manitowoc, died late Sunday evening, July 31, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei, Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce Huffer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Thor, nee Anna Kuchenbecker, was born July 26, 1888, in the town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Carl and Anna Snorek Kuchenbecker. She had resided at Westboro, Wis. She was married to Wenzel F. Thor Dec. 29, 1908, at Manitowoc. In 1948, the couple moved to Manitowoc to reside. Mr. Thor preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1962.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Florence and Alvin Nickels of Manitowoc and Bernice and Neil Jaquith of Coloma, Wis., two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A daughter, Clara in December, 1962, and a grandson, James preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei, Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening and from 8:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
