MARION L. THOMAS

Mrs. William Thomas, 48, of 1131 S. 36th St., Manitowoc, died late Tuesday
evening at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Thomas, nee Marion L. Pleuss, was born Aug. 27, 1928, daughter of Mrs.
Lillian Pleuss and the late Carl Pleuss. She attended St. John Evangelical
Lutheran School, Newtonburg, and was graduated from Lincoln High School,
Manitowoc, in 1946. Mrs. Thomas was a Manitowoc resident most of her life.
She was married to William E. Thomas July 8, 1952, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Thomas
was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and
Susan Thomas, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Steven, of Manitowoc; three daughters,
Cynthia, Susan and Lorie, at home; her mother, Mrs. Lillian Pleuss, of Manitowoc;
a brother, Howard Pleuss, of Appleton and nieces, nephews and cousins. Her father
preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9
Friday and at the church from noon until the time of service Saturday. Memorials
may be made to the First German Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund.
