Mr. Clarence F. Tess, 84, of 3102 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon,
February 15, 1991, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist Church,
Manitowoc. Rev. Phillip C. Kenas will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
He was born December 29, 1906, at Almond, Wis., son of the late Frederick and
Albertina Bastian Tess. Mr. Tess was involved in the Manitowoc area for many years
as an insurance agent. He married Edna A. Gajafsky on May 16, 1929, in Green Bay.
She preceded him in death January 3, 1986. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist
Church, Manitowoc Lions Club and United Commercial Travelers Association.
Survivors include a son, David (Swanhild) Tess of Brookfield, Wis.; two grandchildren,
Kevin Tess and Gregory (Tami) Tess; a great granddaughter, Kristen Ann Tess; a sister,
Carolilne (Will) Ross of Calif.; a brother, Melvin (Okel) Tess of Minn.; also other
relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Tess.
Friends may call at Wesley United Methodist Church, 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time
of services. Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
