Dorothy V. Tegen, age 84, formerly of Arlington Ave., Manitowoc,
died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2008, at Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center.
Dorothy was born on June 17, 1924, in Sheboygan, daughter of the
late John and Anna (Wilde) Nisleit. She married Eldon W. Tegen on
Oct. 5, 1946, at First German Evangelical Church. He preceded her
in death on Dec. 4, 1994. She was a member of Grace Evangelical
Lutheran Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Eldon; one son-
in-law: Tom Duchow; two brothers and sisters-in-law; three sisters
and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008,
at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2426 N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Thomas Pankow will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen
Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, from 5 to
7 p.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St.,
Manitowoc, and again on Tuesday at church from 1 p.m. until the time
of service at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran
Church.
Dorothy's family would like to give a special thanks to (private) who
cared for Mom as if she was their own mother while Mom lived at home,
and also to the doctors, nurses and staff of Holy Family Memorial
Medical Center Critical Care Unit for their compassionate care.
