RUSSELL H. TEGELMAN SR.

Russell H. Tegelman Sr., age 77, of 3807 Ray St., Manitowoc, died Thursday
evening, June 15, 1995, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center,
Manitowoc, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, June 19, 1995, at the Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Graveside Military Services will be accorded by VFW Post #659.
He was born December 8, 1917, in Oshkosh, son of the late Herald and Clara
Koeniman Tegelman. Russell was a graduate of Winneconne High School and entered
the United States Army in 1940 serving overseas for two years in New Guinea. He
married the former Georgiana C. Wells July 20, 1945, in Winneconne. The couple
moved to Manitowoc in 1952 and resided here since. She preceded him in death
October 18, 1991. Mr. Tegelman began his employment at Wisconsin Canning Company
and then transfered to Lakeside Packing company in 1950 and retired in 1985 after
35 years of service. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #706 and VFW Post #659.
Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Jane Tegelman,
Shoto, Russell Tegelman Jr., Manitowoc, Peter Tegelman, Manitowoc, Scott and Susan
Tegelman, Two Rivers; two grandson, Chad and Justin; two granddaughters, Stacey
and Casey; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Gert Tegelman, Antioch,
Philip and Norma Tegelman, Winneconne, Herald and Gert Tegelman, Winneconne; one
sister and brother-in-law, Harriette and Clyde Hotchkiss, Lady Lake, Fla.; and a
special friend, Janice Fosmo. He was also preceded in death by one son, Dale killed
in Vietnam and one sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Leo Miller.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home 6-9 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. Monday
until the time of services.
