Elmer E. Tech, 63, of 1022 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly of a heart
attack at 2 a.m. at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Tech was born Dec. 22, 1898, at Manitowoc, son of the late William and Amelia
Raether Tech. He married Christine Gutknecht Oct. 16, 1926, at Manitowoc.
He was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. from July 1, 1915 until retiring Jan. 1,
and was a foreman there for 36 years. He was a member of the 25 Year Club and
Foreman's Assn. of Mirro.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Donald, of Sturgis, S.D., a brother, Herbert,
of Manitowoc and two grandchildren, Anita and Robert Tech of Sturgis.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
until 10:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body
will lie in state until the hour of service.
