Mrs. Christine F. Tech, age 85 a resident of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died
Tuesday, September 7, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church. Rev. Arno Wolfgramm and Rev. Bruce Bitter will officiate with burial in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born August 25, 1908, at New Kensington, Pa., daughter of the late Fred
and Mary Herman Gutknecht. She married Elmer Tech, October 16, 1926, he preceded
her in death in 1962. She is a member of Manitowoc Senior Citizens, First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church and First German Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Donald (Mary) Tech, Sturgis, S.D.; two brothers, Albert
Gutknecht and Henry (Margaret) Gutknecht, all of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren,
three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends including four special
neighbors, Theresa and Ray Scharenbroch, John Klinker, Eugene Sanderson, all of
Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church Friday from 10 a.m.
until the time of services.
