CHARLES C. STRATHMANN

Charles C. Strathmann, 62, of 2205 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Thursday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev.
Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Strathmann was born Aug. 3, 1921, at Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph
and Mary Zych Strathmann, living at Manitowoc all his life. He married
Jeanette Trottier May 1, 1935, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He was
a custodian at Lakeshore Technical Institute of Manitowoc for 30 years, last
working Oct. 2, 1974. He was a member of Viking Snowmobile Club of Valders.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, John, of Two Rivers and Robert, of
Saukville; two brothers, Paul, and Joseph, of Manitowoc; four sisters, Miss
Marie Strathmann, Mrs. Francis (Grace) Blahnik and Mrs. Ethel Walters, of
Manitowoc, and Mrs. Mildred Jocis, of Sheboygan; six grandchildren and nieces
and nephews.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday,
where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
