Adeline A. Stransky, 73, a Manitowoc resident, presently at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday, Jan. 1, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James J. Stamborski and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Ms. Stransky, nee Adeline Amelia Stransky was born May 10, 1910, in the Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc Co., daughter of the late Charles and Otillie Seidl Stransky. She was a professional seamstress for many years and for the past 17 years was employed at the Manitowoc Company, retiring in 1975.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Clara Stansky of Weslaco, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mrs. Clara Schroeder and Florence and Adolph Gospodarek of Manitowoc, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Evelyn.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
