Mrs. Louise Steen, 77, of 534 N. Fifth St., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon
at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Kristaps Caune will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Steen, nee Louise Markham, was born Feb. 13, 1892, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Robert and Alice Johnston Markham. She attended schools at Manitowoc
and later she attended Oshkosh Normal. She taught in Manitowoc schools. She was
married to Arthur Steen Oct. 3, 1919, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the women's society and the Shrine Auxiliary of St. Paul
United Methodist Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors included two brothers, George, of Two Rivers and Robert, of Phoenix,
Ariz., and nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
