Bernard F. Statfeld, age 77, a resident of the Felician Village, Manitowoc, died
early Friday morning, September 27, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center,
Manitowoc.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 30, 1996, at
the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rabbi Bernard
Reichman.
He was born August 2, 1919, in New York, New York, son of the late Samuel and Rose
Eisenberg Statfeld. He served with the United States Merchant Marine from 1942 to
1945. On February 23, 1946, he married the former Erni Grunwald in New York. Mr.
Statfeld was a New York business man until his retirement in 1984.
Survivors include his wife, Erni of Manitowoc; one son, Elliot Statfeld, Manitowoc;
one brother, Nathan Statfeld, New Jersey; very special friends, Patrick and Rachel
Young, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Grad.
The PFeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
