Patricia G. Severson, age 71, of 2012 34th St., Two Rivers, died late Saturday
morning, October 25, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Private Funeral Services for the family will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 29,
1997, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Dale Tutje will officiate
at the service will (sic) burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Patricia was born August 20, 1926, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Adolph and
Gertrude Schmidtman Gesell. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944. Pat
then continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed
her college education at Silver Lake College in Manitowoc receiving her degree in
secondary education. She taught at Roncalli High School and St. Joseph's Catholic
Grade School in Alverno. Pat also co-owned and operated with her sister, Dona,
Heirlooms from the Sisters, an antique and collectible store in Two Rivers, which
they started in May 1986. She married E. Clyde Severson Jr. August 14, 1946, in
Amery, Wis. Clyde preceded her in death June 2, 1976.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Barbara Severson,
Ridgeville, S.C., Mark Severson, Larsen, Wis.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin
and Randy Bryant, Manitowoc, Kim and Tom Czekala, Manitowoc; one daughter-in-law,
Lisha Severson, Appleton; eight grandchildren to include, Rick, Kari, Erin, Kristen,
Eric, Tammy, Jeff and Jodi; one great-grandson, Kavon; one sister, Miss Dona Gesell,
Two Rivers; special cousins, Richard and Noriko Schmidtman, Mission, Texas; along
with other relatives and friends surviving. She was preceded in death by two brothers
in infancy.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in her name.
Pat greatly enjoyed her work with the antiques and collectible items. She dearly loved
her children, grandchildren and sister.
