ERWIN CLYDE SEVERSON JR. (d. 1976)
E. Clyde Everson Jr., 52, of 1821 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died late Wednesday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church Phipps
Memorial Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dale Tutje will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Severson was born Sept. 11, 1923, at Detroit, Mich., son of Erwin C. and
Gwendolyn Josephs Severson Sr. He attended Manitowoc area schools. He was an
electrician for Lakeside Machine Shop Inc., Manitowoc. He married Patricia
Gesel Aug. 14, 1946, at Amery, Wis.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; two sons, David, of Sommerville, and
Mark, in the U.S. Army at Clarksville, Tenn.; two daughters, Robin and Kim,
at home; his parents; two brothers, Martin, of Manitowoc and Frederick, of
Sheboygan and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to
9 o’clock this Thursday evening and until 11 a.m. Friday when the body will
be moved to the church to lie in state from noon until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the American Heart
Assn.
