HERTHA SELLE

Mrs. Arthur Selle, 61, of 1028 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N. W. Kock will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Selle, nee Hertha Selke, was born Aug. 7, 1906, in Germany, daughter of
the late Denno and Bertha Pomrehn Selke. She attended schools in Germany and
came to Manitowoc County in 1925. She was married to Mr. Sells Jan. 12, 1926,
in the Town of Liberty and they farmed in that area for a short time and then
moved to Chicago, Ill. They returned to Manitowoc in 1927, where they have
resided ever since. Mrs. Selle was a member of the Ladies Aid of the church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Erwin (Luella) Miller,
of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs. Otto Thoms, of Germany; a brother, Kurt, of
Manitowoc; and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m. Tuesday and
then at the church.
