Arthur Selle, 90, formerly of 1028 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, April, at St. Mary Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wofgramm will officiate and burial will be in vergreen (sic) Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Sellle was born Oct. 25, 1892, in the Town of Liberty, son of the late Charles and Augusta Luelloff Selle. He attended school in the Town of Liberty and married Hertha Selke Jan. 12, 1926 in the Town of Liberty. The couple moved to Chicago for a short period of time, returning in 1927 to Manitowoc. He had been employed at the Manitowoc Company as a drill press operator from 1940 until his retirement in 1957. Mr. Selle was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. His wife preceded him in death in 1967.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Luella and Erwin Miller, a brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Dorothy Selle and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kurt and Wanda Selke of Manitowoc and a granddaughter, Sandy Krajnek and three great grandchildren, Phillip, Rob and Kristin of Branch. Cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the time of services. Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
