Miss Jennie A. Selk, 83, of 1411 S. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Private family funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Mrs. Erwin Fanta was the Christian Science Reader and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Selk was born October 19, 1894 in Ashland, Wis., daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Stolze Selk Sr. and came to Manitowoc with her parents in 1898 residing her since. Miss Selk was graduated from high school in Manitowoc.
Survivors include two nephews, Emmett Tabat of New Canaan, Conn., and William Sieker of Chicago; a niece, Mrs. Russell (Jenette) Meyer of California; cousins and dear friends. A brother, Charles Selk Jr. and two sisters, Elsie Tabat and Anna Sieker preceded her in death.
