From the Files of the Pilot - Fifty Years Ago - (1870)
We are pained to learn that a little five year old daughter of Mr. Chris Selk,
living on Ninth Street, South side, fell into a boiler of hot water on Friday
last and was so badly scalded that she lived only about two hours afterwards,
suffering the most intense agony.
Manitowoc Pilot, Thurs., June 24, 1920
