Mary Jane Schwarz, age 73, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday, May 28, 2004 at
Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at First Lutheran
Church, 521 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Steven Olson will officiate with
burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mary Jane was born Aug. 19, 1930 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ralph and
Leila McAllister Manney. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc and graduated
from Lincoln High School with the class of 1949. She was a member of First
Lutheran Church. Mary Jane enjoyed her family, traveling, the Mapleview Resort
at Conover, was an avid fisherman and followed the Packers and Brewers.
Survivors include her husband: Arnold, Manitowoc; their children: Mary Lynn
(Paul G. “Butch”) Menges, Manitowoc; Randy Schwarz, Green Bay; Cheryl Ann Goodman,
Manitowoc; eight grandchildren: Trina, Rachael, Andrea and Michael Menges; Derek,
Shana, Aaron and Sophi; her brother: Wallace (Dolly) Manney, Two Rivers; other
relatives and friends and her favorite pet, Oreo.
Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2004 at Reinbold
& Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St. , Manitowoc, and on Tuesday from
10 a.m. at First Lutheran Church to the time of service at 11 a.m.
