Marriage of George/Caroline Schultz
At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hasheck(sic), North Adams
Street, Caroline Hasheck and Mr. George Schultz were united in the bonds of
matrimony by Rev. C. F. Doehler on Thursday, April 23, 1908. The wedded pair were
attended by Mr. John Schultz, a brother of the groom and Miss Mary Hasheck, a
sister of the bride, as groom's man and bride's maid. The room in which the ceremony
took place was handsomely decorated for the occasion and the wedding party made a
very pretty sight as vows were being plighted. At the conclusion of the wedding
ceremony a bounteous and appetizing repast was set forth to which all present did
ample justice. Then the happy pair departed upon a short wedding trip. The young
husband is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schultz of this city and is a machinist by
trade. He is a sturdy and reliable young man and no doubt will do his share towards
making his married life happy. The bride is a young lady of refinement and education
and has the esteem and good wishes of a host of friends. The Chronicle extends its
congratulations.
