Emma Schultz, 99, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 1991 at the Hamilton Memorial
Home, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday from the Jens
Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Lind officiating, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born August 28, 1892 in the town of Maple Grove, Wis., daughter of the late
Karl and Augusta Bukholz Jonas. She attended schools in Reedsville. She married
Edward Hartwig on August 13, 1910. He preceded her in death. She then married George
Schultz on May 6, 1948 in Manitowoc. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church
and a former member of the Ladies Circle of the Church.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Orville Hartwig of Neenah, Leland
and Mary Hartwig of Lancing, Ill.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Loretta and Robert
Madson of Egg Harbor, Wis., Beula Heebink of Seattle, Wash.; nine grandchildren;
fifteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her
husband, George; four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home from 10 am Saturday until the time of
services. There will be no Friday evening visitation. Memorials may be made to the
First Lutheran Church or the Hamilton Memorial Home.
