Herman W. Schrinner, 79, formerly of 1017 Grand Ave., Manitowoc, died Saturday
evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Christian Science services followed a Masonic services conducted by Ashley
Milton, past worshipful master of Masonic Lodge No. 65 will be held at 1 p.m.
Thursday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and burial will be in Evergeen
Cemetery.
Mr. Schrinner was born Nov. 12, 1900, at Pittsville, Wis., son of the late
Charles and Henrietta Lipka Schrinner. He attended schools in Pittsville and
was graduated from high school in 1918. He married Althea Shaw Sept. 26, 1923,
at Waukesha. The couple came to Manitowoc in 1936, where he was a store manager
at B.F. Goodrich Store until his retirement in 1965. Mr. Schrinner was a member
of Independent Masonic Lodge of Milwaukee.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Joan Schrinner of
Richfield, Conn., and Edward and Yvonne Schrinner of Madison and five grand-
children. His wife and a brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home from noon Thursday until the time of
service. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation. Memorials may be made
to Manitowoc Kiwanis Club or the charity of the donor's choice.
