GLORIA SCHRANK

Gloria T. Schrank, age 85, of 1504 Hillcrest Drive, Manitowoc, died early
Sunday morning, Dec. 13, 2009 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc.
The former Gloria Vetting was born on Sept. 28, 1924 in the town of Cato,
daughter of the late George and Agnes Madson Vetting.
She was a 1943 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
On Sept. 20, 1952 Gloria was married to Martin H. Schrank at First Lutheran
Church in Manitowoc. Martin preceded her in death on June 5, 2009.
Over the years Gloria worked as a secretary for Dr. Erdmann and as a sales
associate at Prange Way retiring in 1991.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church, First Lutheran's Altar Guild and
in the past was a Sunday School teacher and was involved with many small
groups at First Lutheran Church. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family,
music, playing the piano and sewing.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents: George and Agnes Vetting; her
husband: Martin Schrank; two sisters: LaVerne Vetting and Elida Wallace;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Carl (Priscilla) Schrank; Elroy
(Marian) Schrank; Elda (Harold) Vetting; and Ken Korte.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at First
Lutheran Church 521 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Roald Harswick will
officiate.
Burial of her cremated remains will take place later at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009 at the
Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc from 5 p.m.
until 8 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the
time of services at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.
