August Schram Sr, 77, of 1010 South 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning
at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Uranek (sic) and
Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born in Manitowoc Rapids in 1876 and came to Manitowoc at the age of four
years. He was a carpenter by trade and for 20 years was employed by the Lakeside
Packing Company.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Mrs.Joseph Sweigel, Sr., of Manitowoc; two
sons, August, Jr., and Roger of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.
