PARALYSIS FATAL TO SO. SIDE RESIDENT
Mrs. Mary (sic) Schoen Is Victim of Fourth Stroke.
A fourth stroke of paralysis proved fatal to Mrs. Marie Schoen, a well known
south side resident, and claimed her for death last night. Mrs. Schoen had
suffered three previous attacks but her condition could not withstand a fourth.
Death occurred at the family home at 1207 South Fifteenth street.
Mrs. Schoen was born at Hanover, Sept. 13, 1843, and with her husband came here
in 1884 and had since resided in the city. Her husband Gottlieb, and one
daughter Miss Caroline, survive.
The funeral will be held from the Lutheran church Saturday afternoon, Rev.
Machmiller officiating.
