MILES SCALLON

Miles M. Scallon, age 83, formerly of 4216 Tannery Road, Two Rivers, died on
Sunday afternoon, Oct. 18, 2009, at Harbor House I, Manitowoc.
Miles was born May 29, 1926, in Boscobel, son of the late William and Margaret
(Phelan) Scallon. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. On
Nov. 26, 1949, he married Elizabeth Johnson at St. Paul Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 3,1993. He was employed at the
Kewaunee Nuclear Plant, retiring in 1987. Miles loved riding his motorcycle,
doing yard work, woodworking, and music, especially jamming with his friends.
He was a member of the YMCA, and the Two Rivers American Legion. Miles was a
loving father and grandfather.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Christine Patrick, Los Angeles,
Calif.; Mary and Matthew Scallon-Mallen, Largo, Fla.; four sons and two daughters-
in-law: Patrick Scallon, Hood River, Ore.; Mark and Joyce Scallon, Watertown;
Paul and Rita Scallon, Madison; David Scallon, Irvine, Calif.; seven grandchildren:
Hillary, Christopher, Cassandra, Andrew, Alyssa, Katlyn, Amy; three brothers: Brian
and Betty Scallon, Monona; Tom and Carol Scallon, Manitowoc; Hugh and Carol
Scallon, Dana Pt, Calif. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Harold Scallon,
Leo Scallon, Fr. Joe Scallon; one sister: Martha Scallon.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at Klein &
Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev.
Nancy Dvorachek. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc with
Military Honors accorded by the V.F.W. Otto Oas Post No. 659, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at Klein
& Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1
p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Miles' name may be made to: Harbor House I, 3720
Menasha Avenue, Manitowoc, WI 54220.
