Mrs. Daniel F. Ruthmansdorfer, 57, of 639 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died Saturday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry Ellenberger will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ruthmansdorfer, nee Edith Gunderson, was born December 17, 1920 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Stanley Gunderson and Mrs. Irene Simons Gunderson. She was a graduate from Washington High School, Two Rivers in 1938 and was married to Daniel Ruthmansdorfer June 20, 1942 in Two Rivers. For a time she was employed in the accounting department in Mirro Aluminum Co. Plant 1, Two Rivers. The family moved to Manitowoc in 1956 where they resided since. An avid golfer, Mrs. Ruthmansdorfer golfed with Meadow Links Ladies League and Couples Club and was a former Ladies League champion.
Survivors include her husband, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Lyle and Marge of Manitowoc; Kurt and Lola of Madison and David of Columbus, Ind.; a daughter, Jane, at home; his mother, Mrs. Irene Gunderson of Two Rivers; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Bettie Gunderson of Sheboygan and Lynn and Sandra Gunderson of Sheboygan; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Walter Dennis, Jean and James Torrens, Charlotte and Ronald Foley, Karen and Roland Boettcher of Two Rivers, and Shirley and Gordon Stueck of Mishicot; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Monday afternoon until 11 a.m. Tuesday and in the church from noon until the time of service. Memorials may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.
