LEONA M. RUGOWSKI
Mrs. Edward Rugowski, 69, of 2002 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a coronary attack. Funeral services
will be at 10 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J.
Koszarek will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Rugowski, nee Leona Rosinsky was born July 19, 1905 at Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Reinhart Rosinsky and Rose Ginzl Rosinsky. She resided at Manitowoc all
her life. She was married to Edward Rugowski June 25, 1923 at St. Paul Catholic
church, Manitowoc and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in June of
1973.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. William (Jean) Holschbach, Mrs.
Orville (Phyllis) Kodet, Mrs. Howard (Carole) Awe and Mrs. Luanne (Sepnefski, and
her mother, Mrs. Rose Jens, of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and two great
grandchildren. A son, Kenneth and a brother, George preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 pm Sunday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7 pm.
