Louis Roedig, 36, of South 26th street, died Wednesday afternoon at the Holy
Family hospital. He had been ill for the past six weeks.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the Pfeffer
funeral home with the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Roedig, who was an employe of the Manitowoc Foundry was born in the town of
Newton on Oct. 31, 1906. He was married to Miss Evelyn Korbal on July 27, 1929.
Survivors are the widow; three daughters, Marie Jane, Leona Katherine and Rosalee,
all at home; two sons, Louis Albert and Carl John, at home; mother, Mrs. Mary
Roedig of this city; and five brothers, Charles of Four Corners, Herman, Joseph
and Adolph of this city, and Richard at Camp Narfa, Texas.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home to the time of the services on
Friday.
