Norman
William Robinson, age 94, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center,
Manitowoc, died on Thursday afternoon, March 5, 2009, at the center. He was born
on April 2, 1914, in Manitowoc, son of the late Arthur and Laura (Elfner)
Robinson. Norman was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc.

"On May
27, 1936, he married the former Grace M. Wier at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 2, 2002. Norman was employed as an
auto body technician at Hamachek Auto Company of Manitowoc for 27 years, and
retired in 1977, after six years at Manitowoc Engineering. He was a former
member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, St.
Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc, and a current member of St. Francis of
Assisi. (Survivors omitted for privacy.)

"He was also preceded in death by
two daughters: Beverly Voland and Judith Krainik; four brothers and two
sisters-in-law: Arthur Jr. and Mary Ann Robinson, George and Frances Robinson,
and Dale and Walter Robinson; and one sister and brother-in-law: Delores and
Elmer Lehman. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009, at
St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc.

"Officiating at the Mass of
Christian Burial will be the Rev. Daniel Schuster, with burial at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis
of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2009, until
the time of service at 11 a.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center,
Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements."
