KENNETH W. ROBERTSON
Kenneth W. Robertson, age 90, of 1632A S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday,
November 27, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Masonic Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 1994, at 3 p.m.
at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Past Maser Kenneth Hendrick will officiate
with cremation to take place and burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born December 2, 1903, in Gladstone, Mich., son of the late William J.
and Nellie Hendrick Robertson. He attended elementary school in Bailey’s Harbor
and in 1918 the family moved to Manitowoc where he graduated from Lincoln High
School with the class of 1922. He learned the Tool and Die Making trade at the
Mirro Aluminum Company and was employed there for 47 years, retiring in 1969.
He married Marie Wunderlich in Manitowoc, August 5, 1941, with the couple
residing in Manitowoc all their married lives. He was a member of the Manitowoc
Masonic Lodge #65, Free and Accepted Mason since 1926 and was a member of the
International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed special
times in the outdoors at Bailey’s Harbor where he hunted and fished. He was a
commander of the Coast Guard Reserve Auxiliary Flotilla during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marie, Manitowoc; one daughter, Dawn Holsen, Manitowoc;
two grandchildren, Tony and Lee Holsen, also of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law,
Irene Sullivan, Grand Rapids, Mich., Alice Sypniewski, Riverdale, Ill. He is also
survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his patients,
three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Friends may greet the family at the Jens Funeral Home, from 1 p.m. Wednesday until
the time of service at 3 p.m.
