Monday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be
at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev.
David Passet will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Risch was born March 28, 1918, at Manitowoc, son of the late Arthur and
Elsie Lehmkuhl Risch. He was educated in Two Rivers and was graduated from
Washington High School in 1936. He married Amelia H. Novy Nov. 20, 1941, at
Dubuque, Iowa.
Mr. Risch was in the U.S. Army in World War I from 1943 to 1945, serving in
the infantry in the European Theater. He was a machine operator for Schuster
Construction Co. and a member of American Legion Drews-Bleser Post 88 of
Manitowoc.
Suvivors include his wife, three sons and a daughter-in-law, (private); two
daughters, (private): two brothers, Paul and Richard, and a sister, Mrs Lee
(Dorothy) Pfefferkorn, of Manitowoc: three grandsons, (private), nieces,
nephews and other relatives. Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service.
