HELENA E. RINDT

Mrs. Charles L. Rindt, 87, formerly of 1243 N. North St., Manitowoc, died
Monday afternoon after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home
and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude
LeCLair will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Rindt, nee Helen Franken, was born May 11, 1881, in Germany, daughter of
the late John and Hubertine Bishop Franken. She came to the United States with
her father when she was four years of age, and was married Dec. 7, 1902, to Mr.
Rindt at Pentwater, Mich. The couple lived at Two Rivers from 1911 until his
death in 1937. In 1950 Mrs. Rindt began residing with her daughter, Mrs. Gerald
Duket, at Manitowoc.
Survivors are two sons, Charles of Falls Church, Va., and Roger of Appleton;
two daughters, Mrs. Duket of Manitowoc and Mrs. Kenneth Thorpe of Green Bay;
two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two sisters and four brothers
preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday where at 8 p.m.
the Rosary will be recited.
