DONALD RIECK

Donald A. Rieck, 55, of Route 2, Manitowoc, died Monday Oct. 1, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Rieck was born June 6, 1922, at Plymouth, son of Arno Rieck and the late Blossom Craig Rieck. He was educated Green Bay and Chicago schools and was a veteran of World War II. He married Norma Hassemer Aug. 9, 1947, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Rieck was self employed as a distributor of Rieck's Fine Foods in Manitowoc for 30 years and the past two years was a security guard at Hamilton Industries. He was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Norma, two sons, Charles and Craig of Manitowoc; two daughters, Lynne Rieck of Manitowoc and Lori Rieck at home; his father, Arno Rieck of Crovina, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Dona Rieck of Two Rivers; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynne and Wally Olson of West Crovina, Calif., and a grandchild. His mother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4 p.m to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a prayer service will be conducted at 8 p.m. by the Rev. Leo Schmitt.
