JOHN O. RIBBECK
John O. Ribbeck, 83, of Union Grove, died Monday following a long illness at
Racine County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Polnasek Funeral Home, Union
Grove. The Rev. Lyman F. Newton Jr. will officiate and burial will be at 2:30
p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Ribbeck was born Dec. 31, 1885, in Germany. He resided at Manitowoc and
Racine and had lived at Union Grove since 1932.
He married the former Mary Kouril Sept. 5, 1914. Mr. Ribbeck was employed as
a machinist for 28 years with American Motor Corp. at Kenosha and was a member
of the Union Grove Congregational Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Newton (Helen) Moe, of Union Grove;
four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be
made to the Union Grove Congregational Church.
