Edward J. Revenew, 80,, died Saturday, Nov. 7, at Munster, Ind. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, Ind., and 11 am at St. Thomas Moore Church. The Rev. Robert Wies will officiate and burial will be in Mount Mercy Cemetery, Gary, Ind.
Mr. Revenew was former superintendent of Wisconsin Fuel and Light Company from 1928 to 1941 in Manitowoc. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus of Manitowoc and a former member of Lakewood Wisconsin Lions Club. Mr. Revenew was a veteran of World War II serving in the Coast Guard Reserves. he was a licensed officer for Reiss Steamship company.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a son and daughter-in-law, Captain Russell (Florence) Revenew of Munster, Ind., a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Laura Revenew of St. Clair, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Klettner of Port Huron, Mich.; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at Burns-Kish Funeral Home Munster, Ind., 2 o'clock to 4 o'clock this Sunday afternoon and 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Sunday evening.
