JOSEPH F. RENIER

Joseph F. Renier, age 78, of 915 S. 37th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, November 2,
1994, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. o Friday, November 4, 1994, at First
Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. Rev. William B Plank will officiate with burial
at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born May 1, 1916, in Oconto Falls, son of the late Justin and Leona Jacquart
Renier. He grew up and was educated in upper Michigan and was employed on the family
farm until he entered service. He was married to Esther Borgens on January 10, 1943,
in San Diego, Calif. Esther preceded him in death in 1985. He retired from Kelvinator
Commercial in 1984 after many years of employment. A Veteran of Word War II, he
served in the Army as a Training Sergeant in San Diego, Calif.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Ruth Ann and Richard Heinz,
Raleaugh (sic), N.C., Susan and Eugene Hynek, Manitowoc, Helen and Michael Carr,
Mount Orab, Ohio, Joseph and Teri Renier, Tucson, Ariz.; four brothers and three
sisters, Justin and Doris Renier, Iron Mountain, Mich, Orville and Millie Renier,
Hermansville, Mich.; Gilbert Renier, Two Harbors, Minn., Clifford and Gloria Renier,
Faithhorn, Mich; a sister, Julie Miller, Logansport, Ind.; eight granddaughters, two
great-granddaughters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He
was preceded in death by three sisters.
Friends may call at Reinbold-Pfeffer Funeral Home 9th Street Chapel on Thursday, from
6-8 p.m. and at the First Presbyterian Church after 1 pm. on Friday until the hour of
service.
