MILDRED REINHARDT

Mrs. Clermont F. Reinhardt, 43, of 811 Summit St., Manitowoc, died Monday
evening at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient three
weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. B. C. Gumz will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Mildred J. Kolb was born April 11, 1915, at Manitowoc, granddaughter
of the late Fred Schmalfeldt. She was married to Clermont F. Reinhardt Nov. 5,
1939?, at Two Rivers and the couple moved to Manitowoc shortly after. Mrs.
Reinhardt did clerical work at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., was active in Girl
Scouts, was president of the Band and Orchestra mothers in 1958 and started the
first PTA at Jefferson School, Manitowoc. Mrs. Reinhardt was also interested in
the PTA at Washington Junior High School.
Survivors include the husband and daughter, Carol, at home; and her parents, Max
and Viola Schmalfeldt Bigel.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Wednesday until
10:30 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be removed to the church where the body
will lie in state until the hour of service.
