BETTY RAYMOND

Betty M. Raymond, age 88, of 5005 Vista Road, Manitowoc, died early on Monday
morning, July 23, 2007, at KindredHearts of Manitowoc.
Betty was born on March 14, 1919, in Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of the late
Allen and Hazel Krenz Troupe. On Sept. 11, 1939, Betty was married to Clarence E.
"Johnny" Raymond at Dubuque, Iowa. The couple lived in Milwaukee, Sheldon, and
Manitowoc, since 1986. The couple celebrated 65 plus years together. Johnny
preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 2005. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran
Church, Lutheran Women Mission League, Senior Social Group at Redeemer Lutheran,
Manitowoc Senior Center, and a past member and spiritual leader for Willing
Workers' Group, at Tabor Reformed Lutheran Church of Milwaukee. Betty was grounded
in her family and church, and taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed
writing letters, walking, and delivering tapes from church services to shut-ins
for over 10 years.

Betty was preceded in death by two brothers: James and Richard Troupe.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2007, at Redeemer
Lutheran Church, 1712 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Miller will
officiate, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at
the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the Raymond
Family.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of KindredHearts of Manitowoc,
for making a loving home for Betty the past three years.
