Elinor I. Rasmussen, age 91, formerly of 918 S. 21st St., Manitowoc,
died Sunday morning, January 9, 1994, at Shady Lane Home.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 1994, at
Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Bruce McKenney and Rev.
Robert Kujawski will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born June 24, 1902, in Wrightstown, Wis., daughter of the
late William and Mary Pflueger Kussow. She grew up and was educated
at Wrightstown attending schools at Briggs School and St. John
Evangelical Lutheran School. She was married to Earl J. Rasmussen,
August 26, 1926, at Kaukauna. He preceded her in death Janaury 28,
1988. She was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron E. (Betty)
Rasmussen, Mark C. (Jan) Rasmussen, all of Manitowoc; a daughter,
Mavis Pollock, Stevens Point; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
a son-in-law, George Wicihowski, Appleton; two brothers and sisters-in-
law, Ervin (Lois) Kussow, Kaukauna, Sherman (Verna) Kussow, Wrightstown;
a sister, Marion Eiler, Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Florence Kussow,
De Pere; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Wicihowski in 1977, two
sisters, Stela Hidde and Emma Schroeder, three brothers, Edgar, Art
and Elmer Kussow.
Friends may call at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church Wednesday from
9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
