WILLIAM RADUENZ (d. 1947)

William Raduenz, 96, retired Gibson farmer, died at St. Mary's hospital in Green
Bay Thursday afternoon after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran
church, the Rev. H.A. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Evergeen cemetery.
Mr. Raduenz was born in Germany in 1850. He came to this country as a small boy
with his mother and father, the later of whom was killed in the civil war. He
married Louise Sivert in Gibson in 1893 and the couple settled on the family farm
there where they resided until his retirement in 1930 when they moved to Manitowoc.
After the death of his wife in 1945, Mr. Raduenz moved to Milwaukee to stay with
his daughter, Mrs. Walter Sammons. In September, 1946 he moved to the home of his
son Oscar Raduenz at Green Bay.
He is survived by his son Oscar and a daughter, Mrs. Sammons, and four grandchildren.
Two children preceded him in death.
The body may be viewed at the church from 11 a.m. Monday until time of service.
